Yesterday Reception tried some foods from the Chinese culture following on from their role play area of a Chinese restaurant aa part of learning about Chinese New Year. They looked at the meaning behind some of the foods used to celebrate and even opened their own fortune cookie. The children really enjoyed the food and eagerly described what it felt like and tasted like. Most children even asked for more!
