Year 1 Weekly Roundup 29/11/24

With only a few days to go we have been super busy practising for our nativity play. 

In English we have been finishing looking at our topic of fairy tales, starting the week writing a Sorry letter from Goldilocks to the three bears, writing Baby Bear's diary entry and finishing the week by writing our own fairy tale story, where the children came up with some great ideas.

In Maths we have been thinking about how many tens and ones are in numbers from 11-20 and have talked about 'one more than' and one less than'. 

We have done Science this week focusing on animals and how we can compare them, as well as discussing the differences between herbivores and omnivores.
