Dear Parents and Guardians,

I hope this letter finds you well. This week, the children enjoyed a festive Christmas dinner together, creating wonderful memories as a class.

Next week, we will have a fun swimming session. We have been discussing essential safety measures for swimming pools, including the importance of listening to the swimming coach by understanding how to enter and exit the pool safely, and recognising the different depths of the pool. We also discussed the importance of not running around the pool area, as well as remaining within designated swimming areas.

Additionally, we have been focusing on descriptive writing inspired by the book "Starbird" by Sharon King-Chai, which has sparked their creativity.
