Dear Parents/Carers,

Tomorrow, Thursday 16th January 2025,  is National Census Day, an important date in the school calendar!

As you may know, school funding from the Government is partly determined by the number of children eating a school lunch (including those entitled to Free School Meals) on three specific dates throughout the academic year.

Census Day has been a fantastic success, with children coming together to enjoy a fun and delicious lunch with their friends. This term, we’re excited to make it another memorable day with a special All Burger Lunch planned for all students!

To help us maximise the funding the school receives, we encourage all children (please speak to your child and explain the importance of it, the opportunity to try something new and the options) to join us for lunch on this day.

The school will automatically order a meal for all children eligible for Universal Free School Meals (Reception to Year 2) unless you inform us otherwise, and we encourage children in other year groups to participate as well.

Exciting Menu for Thursday, 16th January:

• Red Option: Beef Burger
• Green Option: Quorn Pattie Burger
• Yellow Option: Chicken Burger
  Each served with Potato Wedges, Pasta, Sweetcorn, and Coleslaw.

For dessert:

• Chocolate Sponge with Chocolate Custard

Please rest assured that children with allergy menus will be provided with an appropriate meal.
